A Couple of Birthday Cards for a Little Friend of Mine

I set out to make two cards for my cousin's little boy. Up to this point I had only made cards for adults and generally women, so I set myself the challenge of creating something that was interactive. Although my photography leaves a lot to be desired, the actual card isn't bad! And was well received by the Birthday boy.

The first ramblings of an all-round craft addict

I started a blog a while ago and managed a grand total of just one post, then lost interest.  Since then, I have become more confident in my crafting abilities and joined some groups and forums that have allowed me to make a number of friends and share my work.  Now feels like the right time to strike out and have another go at this blog lark.

I'm feeling quietly proud of myself at the moment as I have triumphed over my spectrum noir alcohol pens, used a Sherri Baldy digi stamp and produced the card below,

I made it for a competition with the theme 'Just for fun' on the Creata with Carley facebook group.  If you are into cardmaking and fond of Creata products it's well worth a look.
