Cross Stitch Cake Card...

I began the cross stitch with one of my best
friend's in mind, as it is her birthday soon.

I've never used a piece of cross stitch on a card
before, but the finished design fitted perfectly into the aperture
I had made for another embellishment..
and the rest, as they say, is history...

I used:
Creata papers, metallic embossed embellishments,
mirror card, double sided peel-offs, brads and glitter,
a hunkydory card blank,
Grace Taylor Vintage scrapbook paper,
an offcut of ribbon
and various threads and aida for the cross stitch

I'm entering this card into the Creata Challenge
which is based around the colour inspiration below:

Hope you like my card, and thanks for
taking the time to read my post.
